Allyson just walked up to Dave.
A- Daddy, quick, read me a book. I am stuck in hot lava! ( said while jumping up and down clearly to get out of said lava.)
D- Will reading you a book get you out of hot lava?
A- It will if you read it to me on the couch.
D- Okay, let's go!
A- Careful Daddy. You are in hot lava too!

Awesome snacks!
Allyson had snack this past week. Theme- transportation. We thought and thought and came p with these ( with the help of Pinterest of course!)...
Cucumobiles and stop lights!
Both were tasty and enjoyed by the class. And, let's not forget, made the picture pages! :)

Girl or Boy?
Allyson and I were just sitting playing with her modeling sand (cool stuff!) while the cat was playing and Dave was putting things away. The conversation went like this...
A- "Is our cat a boy or a girl?"
M- "He is a he. Does that make him a girl or boy."
A- "He is a boy? How do you know he is a boy?"
M- "His body is like a boy and not a girl. Have you ever noticed that Daddy's body looks different from yours?"
A- "I guess. He has longer hairs on his legs.... Like the cat! They are boys because they have longer hair!"
There you have it.
