Who Would You Call?

Conversation with Mommy-
Allyson- "My sister and me made cookies today.  My sister put in chocolate nuts!"
Mommy- "Chocolate nuts?"
Allyson- "Yeah.  I have some in my freezer you can have."  (Then pretended to pull cookies out of the freezer.
Mommy- "Does your freezer keep your food hot or cold?"
Allyson- "Hot."
Mommy- "You might want to get your freezer checked.  Freezers should keep your food cold."
Allyson- "I have a hurt on my leg.  I will call the doctor to fix my leg.  Then he can fix the freezer."
Mommy- "The doctor can fix your freezer?"
Allyson- "Yes.  He is the freezer doctor." (Laughing, I called for Dave to join in this wonderful conversation.)
Mommy- "Daddy, who would you call if your freezer was broken?"
Daddy -"I would maybe call the appliance repairman."
Allyson- "I might call him.  Or the doctor.  Or maybe Jenny."

Conversation with Daddy

Allyson- "I hear something.  What's that sound?"
Daddy- "That's Mommy."
Allyson- "What's she doing?"
Daddy- "She's making a racket."
Allyson- "No.  She's making cookies!"

Going on a Dinosaur Hunt

After extensive training and preparation, Allyson embarked on the great Dinosaur Hunt!  It started out simply enough.  The weather was warm, the car trip short.  Shortly after arriving at the dinosaurs last know location she saw the footsteps and was soon face to face with them!  She brought along her bee-noculars to help her see things that are far away. 

The quest begins...
