Meeting an old friend

My friend, Alexis, came to town this week from London.  We met way back in junior high and I haven't seen her since we left high school!  She stopped by the house to visit.  She and Allyson hit it off right away!!  (It was a sealed deal when Allyson realized they both had names that started with "Al" and when Alexis called her Tinkerbell!)

First Big Haircut

Allyson has not really been letting us comb her hair every day.  As a result, the snaggles are quite bad some mornings.  I have cut the back before and take care of her bangs regularly.  She decided Mommy wasn't going to cut it this time.  We went off to see the hair cut lady instead.

School Carnival

The school I work at has a spring carnival each year.  Allyson woke up this morning SUPER excited to go on "that thing in the front that I didn't do last time because it was raining."  You know, the bouncy slide!  She has such a great memory to recall that.  Not only did she get to enjoy the bouncy slide a ton, but she also got to ride the ponies twice!  Needless to say, we now have "Dixie Doodle" the pony living in our backyard.  She lives in the shade of the house and sometimes comes in to play.  She is a great type of pony to have.  :)
