Allyson got some little sunflower seeds for her birthday in February. She has been waiting and waiting and waiting for the sun to stay out long enough that she could finally plant her seeds. She keeps asking if "the sun has been out for so many days." I decided it was almost warm enough outside, but definitely warm enough inside to start the seeds.

| Mixing the hard dirt with water. |
| Pouring the dirt into the pot. |
| Adding a spot for the seeds. It is a good thing they don't mind being buried deep! |
| Patting down the soil. |
| One week later! Look! 3 1/2 seeds are sprouting! |
| A close up look of the new spouts. |
| 10 days after planting. Now 5 seeds are up!! |
Wahoo! We planted garden starts about the same time and we have a few sprouts too...we missed our helpers though.
