We decided to take a few days before Christmas and head to the coast. We only have a few days to spare but it was worth it! We have seen deer, and even managed to finish up our shopping. The day today was BEAUTIFUL! We spent over an hour outside so Allyson could play in the sand. We also found time to go swimming! With the clear skies tonight, we went outside to see the stars. While our eyes were focused upwards, Allyson said, "I see a raccoon!". We quickly moved our attention to the ground below us to see 2 good sized raccoons. We managed to make it inside without them joining us. Allyson watched them through the door for a long time.

Glad you took the time to head for the coast...such a relaxing place! Two raccoons on the 3rd floor deck (someone else at the condo must have been feeding them, I think)! The most fun part was your phone call and Allyson telling her version of the discovery. I hope you've written it down! Relax and enjoy for the time you have there this trip. Love always, Mom
